Cathy Bernstein for Congress

New York‘s 10th Congressional

Cathy Bernstein has lived on the Upper West Side for the past 35 years, and she is witnessing the city decline again due to the progressive policies of Mayor Bill de Blasio and Congressman Jerry Nadler of the 10th Congressional District. As a fellow constituent, Cathy cares deeply about the quality of life in the 10th Congressional District.

Cathy is a SUNY Albany Business graduate and CPA, Cathy has worked at a Big 8 accounting firm specializing in taxation and now works as a Financial Consultant. She is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs and has served on its Taxation of Individuals Committees.

Cathy has devoted decades to her social activism ideals through various political, religious, and civic-based community groups. Her volunteer and fund-raising work for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, Ambassadors Against BDS, Republican Jewish Coalition, and National Council of Jewish Women affords her the opportunity to have her ear to the ground on many issues. Her involvement with the East End Hospice, Harlem Junior Tennis and ACC of New York in Harlem, Liaison for Community Service and Security Council after 9/11 for Central Synagogue, Tzedakah Drives for the Homeless and the NY City Residents Alliance speaks to a wealth of community knowledge.

Cathy Bernstein is a fourth generation New Yorker, age 57, who has dedicated her life to charitable and political causes while raising a family and working in her New York Community.
